It’s here, the 2016 CrossFit Games Open competition begins this week. If you have already registered, or plan to do so, here is what you need to know:
- The workouts are announced on the CrossFit Games website Thursdays at 5pm.
- We will complete the workouts during any class on Friday. If you cannot make class on Friday, you can make up the workout on Sunday during open gym.
- It is our expectation that if you are competing in the Open, that you will have watched the videos and read the rules for the workout before showing up to class on Friday. You should fully understand the workout and the movement standards.
- It is your responsibility to submit your score, accurately, before the deadline (Monday evening). Do not wait until the last minute to do this. Every year, someone forgets to upload their score and ruins the Open for themselves. CrossFit now offers an app that you can load to your smartphone. Submit your score right after completing the workout so that you don’t forget.
